          Own Your Next Step

‘In order to do well in the emerging new business environments, organisations and their leaders have to develop a new cognitive capability, a new learning capacity for sensing, embodying and enacting emerging futures: ‘presencing’. Presencing means to use your ‘higher Self’ as a vehicle for sensing, embodying and enacting the future as it emerges.’ - Peter Senge, Otto Scharmer, et al, leadership specialists at MIT and the Society for Organisational Learning

        • THRIVE BEYOND CHANGE

The current social distancing circumstances brought ten years’ worth of change, in just few months. Many workers feel emotionally exhausted, more irritable, and generally more confused. Anger, insomnia, and sadness in day to day life are on the rise.

Business leaders are looking for ways to support employee's mental wellbeing in a crisis, outmaneuver uncertainty, and reimagine a new future of work, where there is room for purpose, potential, perspective, and possibility.

How we are in our Way of Being, in the face of such circumstances, will play a huge role in how we face, adjust and adapt to these challenging times in human history. We can only engage with life and deal with what it throws up for us, from our Way of Being.

To shift our way of being we need mental awareness. This requires understating the mind, learning how to change the root of our mental operating system. To create a different future, we need to start within... we need a change in who we are as human beings and a change in how we relate to each other.

        • We are human beings,

          not machines...

Humans are built to feel. Leaders specifically need to have emotional acuity in this new world of work. When we sit with our emotional experience, we access empathy for our customers, partners, and employees. And in turn, we move forward towards solving issues and creating useful solutions. Denying our emotions is like having a super sophisticated tool to help us be better leaders, that never gets used.
